Who is Pastor John C. Fitzpatrick, Jr.?

Pastor John C. Fitzpatrick Jr. currently resides in Durham, NC. He is the proud son of John and Joyce Fitzpatrick.  Pastor Fitzpatrick has a lovely wife, Pauline Fitzpatrick, and two beautiful children, John Fitzpatrick, III (Tre) and Cameron Alexandria Fitzpatrick.  He also has one beautiful sister, Amanda Fitzpatrick. Pastor Fitzpatrick graduated from the finest University in the country - The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He attended both undergraduate and graduate school there.  Upon graduating from law school, Pastor Fitzpatrick began practicing law in Durham where he currently has his own firm with a concentration in criminal defense.  Pastor Fitzpatrick accepted Christ at a young age while a member of Mt. Pisgah Original Freewill Baptist Church located in Dunn, North Carolina under the leadership of Bishop Reginald Hinton.

God called Pastor Fitzpatrick into the ministry in February 2000; he gave his initial sermon at Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Durham, North Carolina.  In May 2002, Pastor Fitzpatrick began having Bible Study in his home and in May 2003 Pastor Fitzpatrick became an ordained minister.  Soon thereafter, he became the founding pastor of One Love Ministries, Inc., affectionately referred to as “One Love.” One Love is a non-denominational church that welcomes anyone who wishes to worship Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth. God said, “You will know my disciples by the love they have one for another”. Pastor and First Lady Elder Pauline Fitzpatrick have challenged One Love to live up to the expectations of Christ and to always walk in love. Pastor Fitzpatrick is a dynamic preacher and teacher committed to making the Word of God come alive. He is passionate about fulfilling the call of Matthew 25 to reach out and feed the poor and clothe the naked. His service in our community has been recognized in many ways, one of which was being a finalist for the Lamplighter Awards in 2010. Pastor Fitzpatrick strives to continuously impact our community for the Kingdom of God and empower believers to live a victorious life.

Who Is First Lady Elder Pauline Fitzpatrick?

Elder Pauline A. Fitzpatrick was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Howard William Poe and Mary Mavis Poe, who currently resides in Newfoundland, Canada. She is married to Pastor John C. Fitzpatrick, Jr. of One Love Ministries in Durham, NC and together they have two beautiful children, John Charles III (Tre) and Cameron Alexandria.

Elder Fitzpatrick attended North Carolina Central University and received her degree in Education. She has a heart for young people and taught for several years in Durham and Orange Counties. She is an award winning teacher, having received the Teacher of the Year Award at both CW Stanford Middle School in Hillsborough and Brogden Middle School in Durham, as well as the Jiffy Lube Teacher of Excellence Award. Along with teaching, she has served as the director of various after school programs. She currently directs a 21st Century After School program at Mount Zion Christian Academy.

Elder Fitzpatrick’s passion for young people is also clearly evident in her spiritual life. She serves as the Christian Education Ministry leader at One Love and is a strong advocate for the ministry. In this role, she coordinates Kingdom Manna, One Love’s youth church services, by maintaining quality staff, organizing spiritually enriching and engaging events, and ensuring that youth, ages 2-18, receive a fresh word that is taught at their level. She truly believes that the Lord will bless One Love with a Christian Academy in the future. Elder Fitzpatrick is grateful for the gift of teaching and uses it to bring others to Christ and gain the power to understand God’s word based on Proverbs 4:7.

Elder Fitzpatrick’s greatest accomplishment has been giving her life to the Lord. In 2003, she accepted her call into ministry and became licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on November 16th of that year. She was ordained as an Elder in April 2009. Elder Fitzpatrick loves the Lord and believes in following His lead. Her ultimate goal is to allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in whatever she says or does so that people will be saved! She has been charged by God to bring forth the unadulterated word for His people that will penetrate “even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow!”
